RETURNS
1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY
- You have 7 days from the date of delivery confirmation to request a refund or exchange.
- Refunds or exchanges will not be accepted after 7 days.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all original packaging and manuals.
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
- The return request must be submitted through the “Log a Return” form on our website.
- Returns requested via email, WhatsApp, or any other method will not be accepted.
- Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.
2. RETURNS & REFUNDS
A. Product Doesn’t Meet Expectations (Change of Mind)
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it:
- For an exchange or refund → A 15% handling fee applies.
- If the item is damaged upon return and not resellable, an additional 15% damage fee will be charged.
No refunds or exchanges on:
- Custom-made or personalized products
- Sale items
B. Wrong Item Received
- If the item matches your order, no return or refund will be accepted.
- If the item does not match your order, we will send a replacement at no cost.
- For an exchange, we cover the return shipping costs.
- For a refund, a 15% handling fee applies (or 30% if damaged upon return).
C. Product Arrived Damaged
- If the damage occurred during shipping, we will send a replacement at no cost.
- For minor issues (e.g., adhesive not sticking properly), we may offer a simple fix, free gift, or partial refund.
- For an exchange, we cover return shipping costs.
- For a refund, a 15% handling fee applies (+15% additional damage fee if the item is unsellable upon return).
3. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
- Submit your request via the “Log a Return” form on our website within 7 days of delivery confirmation.
- Once approved, we will provide return shipping instructions.
- Send the item back securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.
- Once received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days.
4. SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
✅ We cover return shipping if:
- You received a wrong or damaged item.
❌ You cover return shipping if:
- You are returning an item due to change of mind or if you ordered the wrong item.
- You prefer Race Republic to handle the return shipping, in which case the cost will be deducted from your refund.
Important Notes:
- Items must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
- For items valued over R2000, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
- Race Republic is not responsible for lost or damaged items due to inadequate return packaging.
- If an item is returned damaged and is not resellable, an additional 15% damage fee will be charged.
5. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
🚫 The following items cannot be refunded or exchanged:
- Items purchased on sale
- Pre-ordered or custom-made products
- Altered or personalized products
6. DELAYED OR MISSING REFUNDS
- If you haven’t received a refund within 10 working days of approval, first check with your bank.
- If the bank has no record of the refund, contact us at orders@racerepublic.co.za.
